Winners of the four main prizes at the 2009 Berlin Film Festival were as follows: –
Golden Bear (Best Film) –The Milk of Sorrow directed by Claudia Llosa
Silver Bear (Best Director) – Asghar Farhadi for About Elly
Best Actor – Sotigui Kouyaté – London River
Best Actress – Birgit Minichmayr – Alle Anderen – Everyone Else
